We repair desktop, tower, and laptop computers of just about any brand. Whatever the problem is with you computer, we can take a look at it and let you know what your repair options are. We have a $20 minimum for hardware or software repair on all computers. If we have to do hardware work on laptops where we have to disassemble the laptop, we have a $40 minimum charge.
Common hardware repairs for tower/desktop computers include:
- Power Supply - When the computer won't turn on ($55 - $85 for parts & labor)
- Video Card - When you can't see any video on the screen, or the display has lines through it. (Depending on features $60 and up for parts & labor)
- Motherboard - When the computer won't boot up, or makes beeping sounds (Typically ranges from $65 - $120 for parts + $40 - $80 for associated labor and driver install)
- Memory - When you are experiencing an unusual number of errors in Windows, or your computer is making beeping sounds (Approx. $31 - $120 for parts)
- Hard Drive - When your computer gets stuck on the Windows logo, or your computer says it can't find a boot device ($60+ for parts; $40 - $80 for labor and disk mirroring)
- CD/DVD Drive - When you are having trouble reading or writing CDs of DVDs ($30 - $55 for parts; $20 for installation)
Common hardware repairs for laptops include:
- Power Adapter - When the battery is not being charged or the computer turns on but immediately turns off again (Starting at $45)
- Power Jack Repair - When the battery is not charging, and you have the wiggle the power connector around in order to get it the power light to illuminate (Typically $80-$100 + parts)
- Motherboard Replacement - When the computer won't boot (Varies depending on model and availability - ballpark figure of $350+/-)
- LCD Replacement - When the display is not illuminated or is cracked (Approx. $200)
- Keyboard Replacement - If you have spilled something on it, or the keys are not working properly ($45 - $75 for parts & labor)
- Hard Drive - When your computer gets stuck on the Windows logo, or your computer says it can't find a boot device ($60+ for parts; $40 - $80 for labor and disk mirroring)
- Optical Drive - When you are having trouble reading or writing CDs of DVDs ($55 - $85 for parts; $20 for installation)
- Memory - When you are experiencing an unusual number of errors in Windows, or your computer is making beeping sounds (Approx. $40 - $120 for parts)
