Our Services: Remote Housecall Service
Get your computer serviced without having to disconnect the cables and bring it in to our shop, and without having to pay a premium for onsite service. We can fix most software problems and perform tuneups remotely. All you need is a working high-speed internet connection.
The general procedure would be for you to give us a call. We can then arrange a time that we can remotely work on your computer. You need to be present to set up the initial connection. After that you don't have to be present, although if you wish to watch, you may. Note that when we are working on your computer - controlling your keyboard and mouse functions - you cannot be working on the computer too.
The cost for a remote session is usually calculated by adding $10 to the cost of the job performed at our shop. For instance, in our shop a system tuneup is $50, therefore a remote tuneup would be $60. The minimum cost for a software repair in our shop is $20, so the minimum cost for a remote session is $30.
